Abhyanga Massage

Abhyanga means, in Sanskrit, to anoint, rub with oil. The oil penetrating the skin nourishes the tissues (dhatus) and the toxins are released. The main advantage of using medicated oils in Ayurvedic massage is that its healing properties are absorbed by the system through the skin, in a few minutes. Increases the circulation of vital fluids and changes at the cellular level. It increases the circulation in the tissues and consequently the increase of red cells after the massage. Likewise, lymphatic circulation also increases. Residues and toxins, such as lactic acid, are removed from the muscles making them relaxed.

Garshana Massage

This is a massage applied to the body (less face) with a silk glove, using warm vegetable oil, crushed herbs, camphor and coarse salt or black salt. After oiling with warm oil, rubbing is done and then the person is wrapped in plastic and corbectors to keep warm, as in a sauna. This herbal treatment is specialized for weight reduction. It improves the quality of the skin, tones the muscles, decreasing the flab and weight, reducing cellulite and removing toxins, providing a wonderful exfoliation in the body.

Udwartana Massage

This is a procedure applied to the entire body (except the face) conducive to weight loss. Unlike garshana, coarse salt and camphor are not used. An herbal paste or powder is applied over the entire body and massaged deeply with specific movements by two or a therapist. Aromatherapy
