The practice of yogatherapy and the application of integrative therapies during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum are excellent tools for women to deal with this cycle of life with self-confidence, security, tranquility and health, while remaining full of energy and wisdom about of their bodies.
Yoga practice contributes to strengthening the bond between women and between women and their babies. In the physical field, it works the muscles of the perineum and the paravertebral muscles, improving support and body alignment; it also strengthens legs and thighs, arms and shoulders, important in childbirth and postpartum; in addition it expands the lung capacity, facilitating the mother's breathing and better oxygenation of the baby.

Yoga promotes mother-to-baby communication through relaxation and meditation, leaving both connected and peaceful. They are also trained during special technical practices at the time of delivery. In the postpartum period, yoga works as a recovery method, both emotional and bodily, favoring the repositioning of internal organs and breastfeeding, creating a bond of affection and connection between the mother-baby binomial.

Integrative therapies, being natural and non-invasive, work as excellent preventive measures against the common discomforts of this period, and as health-promoting measures, strengthening the body as a whole, the mind and the emotional field of women, since the period from conception to weaning, taking care of the child, the father and the family in general.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Yoga Therapy Therapy for Pregnant Women is aimed at professionals who already work with this audience or want to specialize, such as: yoga instructors, doulas, perinatal educators, nurses, psychologists, integrative therapists, physiotherapists and physical educators who have availability of accompany, care and physically and emotionally support women during pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium until weaning, around the second year of life.

GOALS
Train health professionals to act as Yoga Therapists in Pregnancy, Yoga Instructors for Pregnant Women and Perinatal Educators;
Train future professionals in a set of holistic techniques capable of improving the pregnant woman's experience in the physical, emotional and psychic fields, whether in individual clinical care or in group activities;
Discuss the philosophical and spiritual implications of yoga in the context of pregnancy, birth and motherhood.

The course consists of 04 face-to-face modules of 15 hours each (60 hours), 01 module of online classes (20 hours), regular yoga classes * (40 hours), extra-class oriented study groups (20 hours), internship supervised (40 hours) and reflection work about what was learned (20 hours), totaling 200 hours for certification.
Note: Regular yog classes should be hired separately and with the required hours proven, by those people who are not yet in the area., Since the training is Yoga Therapy and requires theoretical and practical knowledge.
